Gamespot UK is that the European and US releases of Tatsunoko vs Capcom will feature new modes, and perhaps more importantly four new characters-- two each from Capcom and Tatsunoko.
Now, a quick refresher on the characters that are already in the game...

Could it be?
As for who these new characters might be, we have no clues yet. For Capcom I'm guessing it'll be more characters from Street Fighter and other franchises well known to the west, but Tatsunoko?...well, here are some of their most popular franchises outside of Japan, which I'm guessing will be the most obvious possibilities:
- Speed Racer
- Battle of the Planets
- Robotech and/or Macross? Dunno if either is really popular, but...
- Samurai Pizza Cats
- Tekkaman Blade
- Neon Genesis Evangelion
What do you think? Would you like to pit Rei against Chun-Li? Or maybe Speed against Casshern? Hmm....
