Take a Look at Takehiko Inoue’s Super Amazing Mural at a Tokyo Museum

If you can’t make it to the Museum of Contemporary Art, take a look at this.

Deb Aoki has found this awesome mural made by Slam Dunk and Vagabond’s artist Takehiko Inoue at the Museum of Contemporary Art Tokyo. He drew it for an exhibit at the museum, an exhibit that just so happens to be about him! He took a couple days out of his busy schedule to draw this giant sized mural of the legendary swordsman Miyamoto Musashi. It will be at the museum until March of 2010, so go see it while you still can; after that it will be at my house (assuming he gets my bid of 20 dollars I sent to him.)

The mural is made with different shadings of ink (as far as I can see), right?  Whatever technique he uses, this guy is awesome.

That's an amazing work of art. I wish I could get a closer view of the face.

Somehow I feel like I would actually willingly get a tattoo if Takehiko Inoue was drawing it.
