So, my apologies on that. However, there IS still a meeting going on where such a ban will doubtless be considered...although considering all the hoopla opposed to such a ban, I'm actually hoping that this early misinformation will help avoid any such ban. Because,I think-- and even Penn agrees! --that it would be a completely ridiculous waste of time and energy, as well as a violation of the right to fantasize about whatever crazy-ass thing you want as long as you don't hurt anyone.
Still though, even if TBS was mad at the EOCS, what on earth would they have gained from presenting this article early based on who knows what information? Unless they thought such a ban was a given and that they'd then break the article...but if it turns out they're wrong, then they look dumb.
Though Canned Dogs, who was my original source for the news, suggests that TBS is wrong a lot. Will have to keep that in mind.
In the meantime...further updates as events warrant.

Never knew Japan had its own slanderous paparazzi like America. Still, glad Japan hasn't caved into the feminists yet.
For example, Humberto Saabedra of animenews.biz says:
"The deliberate misrepresentation of the EOCS wasn’t even the worst part, with it being the fact that TBS ran the distorted interview and news report without any apparent ethical misgivings after being rejected for a second interview from the aforementioned organization, which seems to be endemic to Asian news reporting as Taiwan’s DigiTimes and Korea’s Electronic Times are also known to misrepresent rumors and wishful thinking as fact, with affected companies going as far as soliciting press releases rejecting reports from those publications."
