Surprise!(?) FUNimation Eats Up Soul Eater

Soul Eater

Looks like I wasn't wrong in guessing FUNi had more up their sleeves: the New Show A-Go-Go page now shows that FUNimation has officially acquired the license to Soul Eater. Although the official site only says “Coming in 2009,” the trailer page says November 17 2009 for the first release, so that's probably a safe (tentative) date.

The trailer (whose narration definitely doesn't give off the badass feeling that most of the show does) is in English, but doesn't feature any dub voices, so nothing official there...feel free to speculate on who you think should play the roles. Anyone?
