We all know and love Strike Witches-- or love to hate it, as the case may be. But what about a knock-off without one of the show's detractors' biggest complaints: the loli-tude?
Kotaku reports on a video game called Moe Moe Niji Taisen Deluxe, already out on PSP and PS2, and now coming out on Xbox 360. Like Strike Witches, it features young, attractive girls with robotic legs and even in at least one case a tail, all of which are based on some aspect in World War II (in this case, they represent countries, rather than specific pilots).
The difference, though, is that the girls could pass for the 16-20 range, instead of more the 10-14 range (but with breasts). Okay, that's a lie, SOME of them look pretty young. But not all. Hmm.
Anyone care to comment? Would you buy it?

The first one with the top part of a tank on her arm... that's pretty damn cool.
I mean, wasn't that the whole reason you watched the show in the first place?
As for the "accuracy" mentioned in the Kotaku article... No. Just... no.
There's far more to Strike Witches than "loli fanservice" if people would look past the anime panties and actually bother to look at the vast amount of pre-anime (and/or anime supporting) material.
