Stay Toasty With a Naruto Snuggie

You want to keep warm when you are feeling chill, but you don’t want to raise your heating bill. Blankets are ok, but they can slip and slide, and when you want to reach for something your hands are trapped inside. You want to show you allegiance to akatsuki, but also want to stay warm when attacked by Haku’s ice mirror jitsu. Now there is the Naruto Snuggie, the blanket that has sleeves! It will keep you totally warm, and allow you to break the necks of you adversaries with the freedom to use your hands.

Viz’s twitter recently told the world that they will be releasing a Naruto Shippuden “comfy throw” for the winter, teasing us with an image of Viz’s own Lex wearing it. Wearing a snuggie is pretty bad ass, but with the naruto snuggie, your bad ass points are multiplied seeing as when you possess this you become part of a criminal ninja organization that eat monsters for a living; you can’t beat that. Who hear is staying warm this winter?

Snugges make me laugh, and I hope no one buys me one, but for nerd cred alone this is pretty great.

Plus it has Lex! She's so nice.

I think snuggies are pretty dumb, and even if I did like them I doubt I would get this. It just looks weird.

@John_Martone: I love Lex. I mean, I like everyone I've met at VIZ, but her enthusiasm is so fun. :D

@InfiniteGeass: Agreed...but if they had some kind of built-in glove that would keep my fingers warm without screwing up my typing when I'm at a computer, I would still buy one @_@

Oh I have no doubt she looks to be enjoying it in the picture. I was just confirming my suspecion since as a rule of thumb if people in any media reporting form know someone from a company they report on and don't give them a title chances are they are PR.

Regular Snuggies are pretty dumb but this is like a ninja's Snuggie so that makes it awesome. I want one.
