Stan Lee and Hiroyuki Takei put out the prologue chapter of their manga waaaay back in April.  Things are set for the full series to be published in the March issue of Shueisha's Jump Square magazine.  It will ship in Japan on February 4, 2009.  Viz did print an English translation of Shonen Jump last August but have not announced plans to publish the entire series, yet.

It should be a given that it will be translated pretty quickly.  The fact that this is a combination of Japanese and American work, fans of both mangas and comics will be checking this out.  I know I will be.

The story deals with two robots, Ultimo and Vice created a thousand years ago.  One was good and the other evil.  They awaken when the world begins its final world war.

To be honest the concept sounds crappy as hell. But i'll hold my judgement until i read it

Yeah, I figured the same thing, and having read Shonen Jumps preview, Im not all that impressed, but hey, my mind could change once Ive seen where he goes with it. I personally wish he had chosen another manga artist to represent his work, like Takeshi Obata (Death Note) or something

But oh well....
