I hope you guys aren't too upset at us taking last week off for our Thanksgiving celebrations-- especially those of you from Canada or other countries that didn't celebrate T-day this Thanksgiving --and hopefully this week's Squadcast will make up for it. At 49 minutes, it's our longest yet, for what little that may or may not be worth to you! (And yet it's still dwarfed by so many other 2-3+ hour shows...what do you guys think?)
Anyway, tangents aside, John and Ana and I sat down and had a rousing discussion about the stuff we're currently enjoying, and then John and I got down to brass tacks with the news headlines for the week. And by that I mean we got down to fighting a lot. Ahhh, it's good to have everything back to normal. Here's your podcast (or, if you want to download it, click here).
Aaaand here are the links to this week's news topics!

I've played a few of the Pokemon games. They are pretty fun. I've seen some of the animes and I liked the first movie well enough.
Bravo on the choice of the cast from Sayonara Zetsubou Sensei. I love that series. I always loved it when Itoshiki gets pushed into something and he gets up screaming, "What if I died?!".
Here I was thinking I cornered the market are arguing with Gia (mostly about anime based Hollywood movies). A new challenger has appeared!!
I have been watching Kemeko Deluxe! and Nagasarete Airantou recently, because I've been filling out information on these two series for the site. I really like Maria+Holic. That's a series I want to start filling out information on soon. I've filled out Mariya and Miatsurika's profiles fairly well.
As a Harry Potter reader, I would like to see that artwork.
No, no they were not. Also, on the note of Gia arguing, what if we could combine our forces... what would happen then?
I played football in high school. That had a lot of bumping, grinding, and showers with other males. We just didn't have skin tight leotards and silly hats.
Joining Forces........
Muhaha! Muhahahahaaa!! **Evil Laughter**
It's pretty much the only time the Princess Leia look is ever suppose to be considered macho. I guess.
Great Sqaudcast as always^^
Well, fun for me anyway.
Good one on the Princess Leia comment, by the by. ^_^
Ana, you need to cut John and Gia off and make fun of them more. Oh wait, that's just what I do to Tony/Sara on the cv podcast.
A shameless plug if ever I saw one! haha you three are great when you're podcasting though.
@John_Martone:
Completely agree with your Digimon comments, I'm inclined to agree with the Pokemon stuff but I didn't really care about it that much, no emotional interest. Nothing like the end of the second Digimon season when the originals and their successors grew up at least.
I always thought, "Why would someone want to watch Poke over Digi, put Ash and Charizard up against Taichi and Greymon/MetalGreymon/SkullGreymon/WarGreymon and you have your answer. Not a chance." But then the Pokemon card craze hit England and even the higher year bullies were squealing over swapping my Raichu for his Golduck and it went aaaall down hill from there.
By the way I think I was wrong about that Electric Shock Showdown episode title. The episode with the ketchup bottle love affair is actually Showdown at Dark City. You see how I'd make the mistake though, right? Right?! Oh my poor cred....
