I'm a huge fan of Jason Thompson. His Manga: The Complete Guide is an essential bible of English-language manga, and as an erstwhile tabletop player and manga fan, I'm really excited for his upcoming manga King of RPGs-- a sort of shounen manga meets D&D mash-up. Jason chatted about the book, and plenty of other stuff-- did you know that the man literally owns over a half ton of manga? Over 1,000 pounds? We calculated it out ourselves, though we were mildly disappointed it wasn't a full ton.
 
Jason also talks a little bit about his recent experience as a guerrilla Dungeon Master in the public eye of San Francisco, CA, which you should check out-- I can't wait for the video to go online! --and his current manga giveaway on Del Rey's Suvudu blog, as well as yaoi readings and manga orcs. Yes, I said manga orcs.
 
While I'm at it, permit me to apologize a bit for John's lack of volume here-- we had a slight recording error in which his track was not actually recorded in and of itself. I did my best to fix the problem, but even after a solid hour and a half of adusting, this was the best I could do! Oddly enough, John doesn't talk as much as usual this week, so hopefully it won't be too big a problem. He'll be back in loud mode next week, I promise!
