Spotlight On: Lots of Stuff

Cosplay, FFXIII sideboob, Japanese McDonalds, and even some classy art. What more could you want?

[Generic opening statement about pictures being worth a thousand words.] [Pithy retort to said statement.]

Okay, that's out of the way. A bunch of stuff kept popping up that I wanted to post but that was really just a picture at most, so I thought I'd just group them together for you guys. Nice'n convenient, that's what we're all about here. Usually.

We'll start out with DailyBento's post, featuring Guitar Hero Kakashi, which is just awesome cross...play. (Er, actually, I'm not sure if it's a dude or a girl. Doesn't matter, it's pretty spiffy either way.)

On a swankier level, Punjapit has an interesting piece: illustrator Hashime Murayama's final piece for the National Geographic. I'm not quite sure what about this piece got him fired-- I mean, I get the idea that he was Japanese, and it was 1941, so the boss assumed he was an "enemy sympathizer," but I feel like I must be missing something in this picture to lead him to that conclusion. Very strange...but very pretty.

InventorSpot has four new McDonalds Japan offerings: four Big America burgers. The first is Texas, featuring a middle bun to separate the burger from bacon and those yummy crispy onions on top. That does sound really delicious. Also available: New York (BLT w/Monterey Jack), California ("artisan" bun, "spicy" cheese, BLT, and a red wine sauce), and Hawaii (with neither spam or a pineapple, it's supposed to be like a loco moco, with a fried egg). Hmmm, I guess I have to give them kudos for not going with the super obvious (like an avocado on the California burger), though I doubt I would order any of these caloriefests...

 SIDEBOOB!
 SIDEBOOB!
Final Fantasy XIII is reportedly the "most anticipated sequel" of 2010 (if you can call it a "sequel" per se), and this screencap is why. (Kidding!)

And finally, new screens from the upcoming Fist of the North Star Musou game.

Whew! That's a lot of stuff. What say you guys? Anything look interesting?

Thank for news, I'm exited about Fist of the north Star game. It will surly be a gruesome affair, hahaaha

Hum, the article on Murayama and Nat Geo looks very interesting. No one likes to talk about the dirty stuff the winners have (it's no secret the Americans sent the 'enemies within' to 'special facilities' = concentration camps).

That cosplay mash-up is epic win. period.

Mmmmm .. FRIED battered onions?! Is that even legal?!

That is some fine side-boob.

Hm, I'm not sure if I'd call that sideboob. That's really more just boob. Boob is boob, though.
