So, what can you do to get your paws on this beauty? You'll have to spend some time on our forums! Leave a comment on this post's thread with your very own re-written, otaku-themed holiday carol. To get you started, here's mine, titled “Jingle Con”:
Dashing through the con
In a Mog-drawn open sleigh

Anyone who submits a holiday carol gets an entry into the contest. You can post as many as you'd like for more entries, but they have to be legitimately different from your others (and those of other users)-- and by entering, you agree to leave that sort of thing up to my judgment! Post it by midnight Pacific Standard Time (that's -8), and one of the entries will be randomlyu selected.
There's one other way to enter the contest: if you get someone else to sign up for the site today, both of you get an entry. In order to make that work, BOTH of you have to PM me (by midnight!) and tell me the other's username. And yes, I WILL be checking IP addresses and dates joined, so don't even try to cheat. Because...
Any attempt to cheat automatically disqualifies all of the rest of your entries and entries into future contests. So don't do it, okay?
OK, boring rules stuff is out of the way. Get your friends to sign up and/or start writing those carols! The winner will be chosen on Wednesday.
* FUNimation has the license now, and I bought it from them, but this is clearly an item that was designed prior to Geneon's demise, since it only has the Geneon logo on it-- no FUNi.
