Shonen Jump mangaka are the best, not only do they create awesome manga, but they do other crazy fun stuff on the side. For example, like picking a Final Fantasy game and drawing a character from that game in their signature style. Some of you might remember that these great guys did the same thing to characters from Dragon Ball awhile ago.
Here is my challenge to you, can you figure out who drew what? A lot of these are instantly recognizable, like Final Fantasy VIII for example (you are looking quite Ichigo there Squall.) I actually find it very appropriate for their choices of who drew both Final Fantasy VII, and Final Fantasy VIII; but maybe that’s just me. For those of you who don’t want to guess (shame on you!) the answers are below. Now make them all into anime and I'll be one happy camper.
Final Fantasy I: Fist of the North Star (Hara Tetsuo)
Final Fantasy II: Prince of Tennis (Konomi Takeshi)
Final Fantasy III: One Piece (Oda Eiichirou)
Final Fantasy IV: Hikaru no Go/Death Note (Obata Takeshi)
Final Fantasy V: Eyeshield 21 (Murata Yuusuke)
Final Fantasy VI: JoJo's Bizarre Adventure (Araki Hirohiko)
Final Fantasy VII: Naruto (Kishimoto Masashi)
Final Fantasy VIII: Bleach (Kubo Tite)
Final Fantasy IX: Katekyo Hitman Reborn (Amano Akira)
Final Fantasy X: Slam Dunk/Vagabond (Inoue Takehiko)
Final Fantasy XI: Dragon Ball (Toriyama Akira)
Final Fantasy X2: Black Cat/ToLoveRu (Yabuki Kentarou)
Final Fantasy XII: Gintama (Sorachi Hideaki)

It'd also help if you actually had a souce, y'know?
GET OUT OF MY HEAD. I was just about to say that.
Hm. I don't know about the origins of the drawings, but the only one that looks decent out of all of them, IMHO, is of Garland, Warrior of Light from Final Fantasy 1. :p
