A lot to wrap up today, so let's get started.
First, Danny Choo has documented one of the first real responses we've seen to the latest regulation info from the EOCS : eroge maker minori has blocked their site to people outside of Japan, stating that “Some foreigners seem to be having an antipathy against EROGE. Therefore, We prohibited the access from foreign countries, to defend our culture.” Sigh...
That doesn't mean we won't be getting any smut directly from Japan though. Sankaku Complex reports that the next season of Queen's Blade has been slated for October, which is pretty quick for a sequel that was just announced-- they managed to keep that under wraps for a while, it seems.
Over at Jtor, we learn that women in Japan wearing skirts (very practical if you wind up using older-style Japanese toilets much) should beware small dogs, for they might have cameras strapped to 'em to shoot video for some guy's porno DVD release . Seriously.
Oh man, even a dirty mind like mine is seeking some wholesome release from the above. Here's some more g-rated news: The date for the World Cosplay Summit's preliminaries in Japan has been set for August 2nd. It probably seems unfair that I've barely mentioned the contestants released so far and here I am talking about Japan's prelims-- but I'm planning on doing a feature after all of the countries have their representatives chosen.
Whew, what a day!

Didn't some country influenced Japan's rape policy?
@#$%
I'm afraid I don't understand your comment.
Then again, they could be doing a smart thing if they are just doing this as a publicity thing and then really saying to themselves "meh, we're not really gonna follow through with this, but this way they'll stop bugging us".
Is it over 9000 or under ?
