After word came out that
Yuu Asakawa was a Guest of Honor at
Anime Expo this year, I saw a lot of people asking "who?"
So, I was planning to write an article on why you should be excited for Asakawa's appearance-- listing out some of her best roles, including Priss from Bubblegum Crisis and Sakaki from Azumanga Daioh --but AX has done most of my work for me with ths promotional video discusing those roles and a few others by Asakawa.
Of course, that's just a brief highlights reel with the biggest names, so here are a few of Asakawa's other voice roles:

Japanese Voice Actress, YUU ASAKAWA, will attend Anime Expo® 2010 as an Official Guest of Honor
Anaheim, CA – March 3, 2010 – Anime Expo® is excited to announce today that prolific seiyuu Yuu Asakawa will be an official Guest of Honor at its July convention. Anime Expo, the United States’ largest anime and manga convention is scheduled for July 1 – 4, 2010, at the Los Angeles Convention Center. Ms. Asakawa will take part in autograph sessions, meet-and-greets and attendee panels.
Yuu Asakawa has enjoyed much success over her career as a seiyuu. Her extensive list of credits include work on some of the most famous anime titles in the industry, such as the Love Hina series (Motoko Aoyama), School Rumble (Otoko Osakabe), the Vandread series (Jura Basil Elden), Bubblegum Crisis: Tokyo 2040 (Priss S. Asagiri) and Azumanga Daioh (Sakaki). Ms. Asakawa has lent her vocal talents an impressive 70+ anime titles, including such others as Kaleido Star, Ikkitousen: Dragon Destiny and Fate/stay night.
Ms. Asakawa has captured the heart of fans all over the world for her work not only as a voice actress but also as a musical artist. The theme songs for both Bubblegum Crisis: Tokyo 2040 and Love Hina Christmas Special were recorded by Yuu Asakawa. Over the course of her career, she has worked on several video games, as the voice of Lebreau in Final Fantasy XIII and Shalua in Dirge of Cerberus: Final Fantasy VII.

I wish I still had a Bubblegum Crisis soundtrack-- I picked on up in Japantown when I was a wee gia (over a decade ago) and for the life of me I can't find it now :\ (Though I'm not sure Asakawa was her singing voice, come to think of it.)
And yeah, I love the job she did for Rider and Sakaki.
