Today's Battles: 9/04
Unsurprisingly, the popular Strike Witch Minna-Dietlinde Wilcke took home a victory over Koihime Musou's Shokatsuryou Koumei and Asu no Yoichi!'s Ayame Ikaruga, who both scored solidly nonetheless. Of course, this is the round two battles, so the days of the landslide are over...mostly. I suspect we'll see one or two more. But back to the battles! CLANNAD's Fuuko Ibuki clubbed Hidamari Sketch's Yuno to death with a wooden sea star. I won't go into detail about what further atrocities were committed on Yuno's corpse with that sea star. To Love-Ru's Haruna sat back and watched in fear, knowing that it would be her turn next...
Tomorrow's Battles: 9/05
- Akaneiro ni Somaru Saka's MINATO NAGASE takes on Clannad's MAI SUNOHARA and Saki's YUUKI Kataoka. My prediction: I think Saki's ready for another win.
- Strike Witches' PERINNE H. CLOSTERMANN gets ready to strike against Minamike's energetic KANA MINAMI and Combat Butler Hayate's shy but supernaturally powered ISUMI. The biggest winner of these three round one battles was Kana, interestingly, and the "smallest" win was Perinne's. But I wouldn't count out Isumi, either.

It is amazing how well Saki and Strike Witches does in Saimoe when they have no luck in Best Moe Tournament.

Animesuki's tournament is pretty much fail the same way as most other ones in the west. Or win. But it's also a matter of timing. I think if I were to run a tournament now, Saki characters will do very well.
