I am shocked to tel you, my friends, that The Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya lead Haruhi and Utawarerumono's Eruru TIED today. That's right, tied-- they each had 434 votes. Holy crap. I'm not at all sure what that means for the next battle, but from the look of it they will BOTH move forward to the next match. Weird! That match, by the way, will be Yuki vs Eruru vs Haruhi on 9/27. Who do you think will win? (I vote Yuki!)
Nagi Sanzenin
On a more...normal front, Nagi Sanzenin beat Higurashi no Naku Koro ni's Rena Ryuuguu, and by beat, I mean BOUGHT. Apparently little Nagi-chan is THAT rich. Yoku Wakaru Christina Ichinose probably died of suffocation under a pile of money. Poor girl.
Tomorrow's Battles: 9/18
- Saki's sweet, kind Mihoko Fukiji gets ready to beat down Minamike's Touma Minami and A Certain Magical Mikoto Misaka, who seems to have the better chance of coming close to Mihoko. But is it safe to underestimate a delicious reverse trap?
- And then we've got another really tight battle: Strike Witches' Yoshika Miyafuji and the be-pigtailed penguin-loving Nodoka Haramura, of Saki. Given the number of votes these two got last round (659 and 655) I'd be surprised if Zange managed to take it (she got 373), but hey, you never know...
