I've been waiting a long time to get my hands on a figure of Balalaika from Black Lagoon. I'm not sure if this is really the one just yet-- it's sort of an early image, and it kind of makes her look like she has no nose. On the other hand, those legs...va-va-voom! Of course, if you expected Balalaika to be a cheap date, you've got another thing comin'. At ¥16,200, she's about $172.65 USD. Youch. Okay, so this one's not for me. If she's for you, she's coming out in late November.

Fortunately, I already have a Revy, so I don't even need to consider this one...and I'm not sure I would anyway. The face looks really odd to me, a little...squished. I like what they went for, the demonic look and even poking up her bangs a bit on the sides to give a bit of a feel of "horns," but I don't find the result very attractive, personally. Certainly not ¥16,800 (USD $179) worth, anyway Just 'cause it's Balalaika, I'm going to include a quick AMV as a treat.
