Ron Paul Gets His Own POKEMON Theme Song

Not a joke! Oh no, not at all!

When people look back on the 2012 election someday, I imagine there’s going to be an eyebrow raised (only slightly, though, let’s be real) over how POKEMON music somehow wound up coloring the Republican primaries for this long.

Surely, none of you have forgotten Herman Caine’s penchant for quoting the theme song to POKEMON 2000, at length, as a recurring party favor at his speeches. That was a case of a presidential hopefully expressing his love for Pocket Monsters. What we have here today is a case one of the Pocket Monsters expressing his love for a presidential hopeful.

The singer of the American POKEMON theme song has re-worked the lyrics so as to tout Representative Ron Paul’s unstoppable power to “catch” all over. Having trouble imaging what might sound like? Go on and click this…

If you’ve been dismissive of Paul, so far, there’s no way you’re not going to take him seriously, now, is there?

One can only hope that this will escalate until Romney and Obama decide who’ll be president next term over a heated game of POKEMON RED & BLUE.

Dig Deeper into Pokémon Chronicles

Really called the Weekly Pokémon Broadcasting Station in Japan. The episodes in this series were side stories in the Pokemon Universe mostly featuring other characters other than Ash like Misty, Tracey, Ritchie and Casey.
