Rock Band Galileo Galilei to Make Anime Shorts

The must watch show of our century.

Anytime you make anything involving a dog and a dragon, someone must have been high when creating it. This makes sense because it is actually the rock band Galileo Galilei who will be creating this short titled “Galileo Galilei no Inu-Kurai Ryu” masterpiece about a dragon and a dog (b/c we all know rockers do drugs, right?) This series of anime shorts will be shown on the “Monster Rock” program on Space Shower TV, a “music” channel like MTV. The vocalist and guitarist of the band, Yuuki Ozaki contributed to the writing and to the art of this project. I completely doubt we will see this in America, and I doubt we will see this in fansub form as well. So if you just so happen to be in Japan, and just so happen to be watching Moster Rock and you see Galileo Galilei no Inu-Kurai Ryu, think back to this article.

I want to make some joke about how I'll get into their anime shorts, but that one in the striped shirt looks so young even *I* feel a bit skeezy O_o

Eh, they actually look like four pretty normal kids compared to 95% of rock bands out there... and a dragon and a dog doesn't sound all that crazy...

Galileo Galilei's a pretty normal band -- I say their style is like Bump of Chicken (I know that name isn't helping my case any), which just so happens to be my favorite band. They also seems to have traces of The Pillows and RADIWIMPS. Overall, that's a really nice blend in terms of my taste in music. ^-^;;

edit: After some research, it seems that they're all approx. 18 years old...except the drummer, who should be around 16.

Bump of Chicken sounds likes... the greatest band name ever.

My amusement is great enough that I will youtube a track of Galileo Galilei right now in appreciation.
