
As always, Japan has the answer: sexy male costumes of Doraemon (err, “Doraimon”), Astro Boy (“Astro Kid”), and Pikachu (“Pikachoo”)! I can't help but wonder if these were inspired by “Man-Chu,” a 2007 YaoiCon attendee-- I couldn't find a photo of him, but if you're brave, you can catch him in all his pika-loincloth-y glory on YouTube.
Apparently there are girl versions too-- I'm not at all sure what event this is from, although I have a sneaking suspicion that it might be the Folsom Street Fair (NOT for kids!)...
