Really, Kotobukiya? THIS Is All FMA Gets?

You know, I've found it odd that I haven't seen a ton of new Fullmetal Alchemist merch since the start of Fullmetal Alchemist: Brotherhood's airing. I think-- and admittedly, I don't retain encyclopedic knowledge of every figure or toy runs by my eyes on Google Reader –that with the exception of some chibi cell phone charm figures back in June, these are the first Fullmetal Alchemist figures I've seen since the start of FMA:B.

And boy...what doozies. We've got Ed, Al, and Roy from Kotobukiya's Play Arts line, so they're more for posing and less for looking amazing, but...well, the Advent Children ones looked better than these, if you ask me. I mean, even the one of Kingdom Hearts' Sora with a remarkably fat face had better-looking articulation.

It is cute that Al comes with his goofy head, too, though. (See above.)
