Holy shit, the start of that video shocked and confused the holy hell out of me. The way gia's hair was covering the straps of her shirt made it look like she was naked....

I'm going to break into the Twilight talk! I am not buying the manga but I can say that I read one book a while back and watched the movies...
I can't say I'm a FAN!!! Like well most non-geek girls... but I can say it's enjoyable if you watch it with the movie with the mentality that it's a "chick-flick"... So my advice to whoever wants to read the manga: Read it with a mentality that it's a "lighter than light shoujo" (Not the ones you are used BTW)
Changing the subject: I am totally buying Astro Boy (haven't seen it but I'm going to buy it so I can watch it)

The immune to magic sounds like Asuna Kagurazaka in Negima!. For whatever reason she just has this ability to cancel out magic.
Good Lord. That TWITlight manga is $20? How many pages are in that damnable thing? I bought the revised edition of Gunsmith Cats Vol. 1 by Dark Horse. That had over 450pages and cost me $16.95.
Next week, I know FUNimation is releasing the first five seasons of Detective Conan on DVD in a Viridian Collection (Thanks to Gia for explaining to me what Viridian Collection is.). Ever since I heard that they offer the option on the DVDs for the proper Japanese names in the subtitled format. I have been seriously looking into these. I'm tentative about them. I'd really like to try and rent before I buy, but it's been difficult to find a rental service that can provide them.
@Konanda: Hey! MOST of the time I can beat battles in half of the allotted time-- it's just when I'm stuck with only Sazh and Vanille that I completely fail >_<
@crusader8463: Whoa! *I* can see my tanktop in that shot-- my right (viewer's left). My hair never makes a line that smooth =p
@sora_thekey: Glad to hear someone's buying Astro Boy! *_*
@FoxxFireArt: You should get Netflix-- they have a lot of anime (and some of it is instant-streaming!). They have the first four seasons on DVD (but not instant-stream) at the moment. :) Of course, I'm not sure how instant stream handles subs-or-dubs anyway-- I've only watched anime one time on it, and that was Katsuhiro Otomo's Memories, which I believe was never dubbed into English.
@Lunarmoth: But I'll have the SPARKLES to light my way!
Hm, I also found out that the "Reading Japan Cool" thing is a reprint-- I THINK it came out as an eBook back in '09 and now it's being printed. Not entirely sure though.
@JJOR64: I just double-checked my original files-- I'm not sure why it's doing that. The background music there is at the same level as in the rest of the file, in theory, but it still keeps playing louder :\

Netflix is one of the problems. My uncle has an account with Netflix and he tried to rent two of the movies for me to check out. The wait was so long it was next to impossible. Either long to never. He said something about people not returning them or marking them as lost. I kind of doubt they would have the Japanese with subtitles to stream considering on the DVDs it's more of a side option.
I've heard something about in store at Blockbuster you can request movies and they will mail them to your home.
@gia: You can see it becase it's a still shot, but in the video it was rather hard to tell as your hair kept moving from side to side and i wasn't sure if i was seeing a shirt strap or just hair. Mind you this was only in like the first two to three seconds of the video, after that i saw the shirt and knew what it was. Sorry, you know me. Dirty mind and all.
Good luck Geekachu don't accept anything less than being the ring leader!
To the FFXIII comment, maybe you just aren't good at games Gia. :p
My Darling! Miss Bancho needs more laser eyes.
Also is that a girl or a really fey boy in the booty shorts behind you?

On Topic: I've heard a lot of great things about Slayers. Maybe I will check it out some day.
