Quick Picks 12/17/09

Time for your weekly wallet torture session.

Let's see what's on our to-buy list this week, shall we?

I didn't find a good spot to mention this in the video, but the first Spice and Wolf novel is out this week, so I'll probably be picking that up to. And now, without further ado-- your release calendar.

And here's the link to the Miku figure-- "Natural" frame and "Brown" frame versions. (The images in the video are of the "brown" frame).

Oh, by the way, did you know you can get some of our features on YouTube now? I know that'll help a few of you be able to watch our features on the go if you want. Here's this week's Quick Picks on YouTube, and here's a link to our YouTube channel.

That was a really nice figure but A. I haven't watched that anime/read that manga yet and B. $90? I'll pass.

El Cazadore looks pretty good, might have to look into that. Darker than Black looks cool too, damn you Hulu ¬¬

Next time you guys go paintballing you should make it Giant Bomb vs. Comic Vine vs. Anime Vice. And make an awesome video. Think about it, the GB guys could throw 'Giant Paint Bombs', you guys could spray giant paint nose bleeds at them...

Oh hey, what was the age gate on the video all about? The content seemed fine to me.

@Newten: We did it to make people go to the YouTube page.

I'm lying. It was an accident. Age gate is removed now.

Paintball!!!! I wanna go!

Geekachu seems to be strong enough to push Gia off the screen but apparently the no arms comment would suggest Geekachu was weak... *_*

Hey, you are going to give Geekachu a Mesousa Complex like that. He couldn't hold anything in his hands. I really adored Pani Poni Dash.

Great video this week. Poor Geekachu, he missed out on all the bruises and welts the rest of us suffered.

Darn, looks like the Azumanga Daioh release is just Yen Press putting it out under their label since ADV dropped manga support. Was hoping there would be a (re) release of the series with new content as was done in Japan celebrating the 10th anniversary of the series. I did pick up Yotsuba&! though!

Thanks for the quick picks, hadn't heard of Your & My Secret, but it sounds interesting.

$90 is a good chunk but I've seen worse figures going for $400. And that makes buying this a good choice, right?

Gia, I noticed your hair hanging out of your helmet and was Just curious did you happen to get paint in your hair like Adam Gontier?

   Go to the 1:50 mark

Also why is Ryan (I think it's Ryan) facing the other way in the photo.

Also, I'm curious if this is how Geekachu sees the world.

Poor use of also is poor.
