Quick Picks 04/27/10

This week's pickings are rather slim...

This week's release list was so short and quiet that John and I had to make up a couple of releases to try and make it more exciting. (The release list only includes real releases, never fear.)

Slim pickings indeed...

Wait...wasn't the Dance in the Vampire Bund the manga that was removed by Google?

@ShadowKnight508: O_o noooo, Google de-indexed a site for a scanlation group that focuses entirely on smut, some of which is lolicon.

Actually that's inaccurate since by saying "No comment" I am in fact commenting, but what the phrase actually means is that there is no comment related to the issue at hand...  Which in this case means I have no picks for nothing that were in the Quick Picks...

So yeah... No comment

Rurouni Kenshin Complete for 159.99, while it is high I'm willing to buy it once I get the money.

@gia: Nothing related to the anime in the video to comment on, as I have never seen nor heard of any of it, however I giggled at the part where Gia looked down at what John had written in front of him then turned away and started to laugh. It looked naughty to me. ^_^

Rurouni Kenshin... my childhood. /frantically starts saving up money now.

Don't know about Tsubasa Reservoir Chronicle, since I collect random volumes depending on major plot events. Gintama would be a nice choice in the anime department too, but I'll settle with Crunchyroll for now.

Rurouni Kenshin huh... well thats less than 2 dollars an episode but yeah waiting for a sale sounds smart.  Of course I already own the whole thing anyway so I am not buying it.  Kenshin also does not look like a girl he just looks a little sissy, later in the series he has manly moments.... sort of....  Hajime Saito makes up for it though.  Magic Knight Rayearth?  They lo are very girly looking because they are in fact girls, maybe worth considering.

I would advise anyone looking at Gintama check out CR first.  The reason it will never see US TV is because it is way too japanese.   90% of the humor will completely fly over the head of anyone who isn't already a dyed in the wool anime man.
