In fact, there isn't a single title on there that could really be called a " shoujo" series.
It shouldn't be all THAT huge a surprise, I suppose-- Weekly Shounen Jump is the top-selling manga anthology among women as well as among men, after all --but still. No Nodame? Nana? Nothin'? Very interesting! I know most of our readers dive into shoujo series, both male and female-- what's your #1 pick? (Mine: Ouran High School Host Club. <3)
I mean, with the way Gundam is going it shouldn't be too surprising. I find it scary that I've been able to talk to more people that haven't seen any prior Gundam (or very little) about 00 than I have to focused Gundam fans...
And as much as it pains me to admit it, I (blame?) Wing. ("blame" has such a negative connotation.... it's not like this is necessarily a bad thing, but I don't like the fact that most of them are into it purely as "shippers"...)
Seriously, with DVD covers like these, you know a female audience was their objective:

cmon i haven't seen a fanfic that contain 5p ho-yay, other than gundam wing......... unless said fanfic came from yaoi anime but still
