So, I was talking to some friends last night about Evangelion 2.0: You Can (Not) Advance (namely, how much we want to see it!), so I thought it was about time to present to you some delicious Mari Illustrious Makinami art.
I have never had a good place to stand on the Asuka vs Rei debate. I think they're both excellent characters, but I don't find Rei's detachment particularly inviting, nor Asuka's combination of tsundere and mommy issues pleasant. Just...not my thing. So I look at Mari and wonder: is this the Eva girl of my dreams? Unfortunately, we haven't heard much information about her personality. Still you can get some idea based on some of the fanart that's been offered up from Japan in recent months...enjoy!

There is going to be a theatrical representation of "Evangelion: 1.0 You Are (Not) Alone" in my city but I be busy that day :(.
I can kinda see it, but I think its mostly that top shot.
