There’s healthy but boring betas like beta-carotene. There’s mellowing but potentially dangerous betas like beta blockers. Then there’s squeaky clean, legal and infinitely-entertaining betas like the Digimon Beta. WeMade entertainment is bringing the Digimon MMO to our shores soon and, starting tomorrow, you’ll have the opportunity to play the game’s Beta. Registration is actually open now, so what are you waiting for? Fortune favors the bold and the early bird gets the worm… because if you register before the 16, you digital monster fanatics will receive a Frontier Starter kit that’ll include all kinds of goodies.
“But I’m still not convinced!” you exclaim. “I need audio/visual proof and in a smoothly-streaming online video!”
We had the announcement before and now... BOOM!
There’s just something about a light synthesizer back-beat that makes everything go down smooth and easy, am I right? Have a little music playing while you read this official statement WeMade’s CEO Kevin Seo (and thanks to Nebs Blog)…
"The Digimon community has been waiting patiently for an online, interactive DigiWorld, and we feel privileged to be developing this experience for audiences. In the open beta, players will be able to take on the role of hero or heroine in the game and embark on adventures with Digimon friends."
Their privilege, your pleasure, am I right? What do you think of this trailer, oh digitized Anime Vice community? Does it jack you up for some furious capturing and battling of digital monsters?

Is it free?
I'm totally going to play this!
Yeah, its one of those free to play, though they'll probably have some sort of subscription content. Agree on the terrible graphics, but when we're talking free internet games I'm less picky.

I signed up too, but I'm not sure "MMO" and "Turned based strategy battle system" are like peanut butter and chocolate.
Yeah im going to check it out, due to boredom, but from the looks of it after the beta it wont be free, i saw somewhere like recruit a friend and get one month free, if its gonna charge, this game is definitly not worth it.
And i tottaly agree with you, turn based game / mmo O_o wait wha lol
ps1 can do better.
