One Piece to get Theme Park Attraction

Some say it will be better than sex.

Now that I think about it, there are a lot of parks in One Piece: Arlong Park, Shabondy Park, and even Thriller Bark to some extent; so it is no surprise that someone wants to create a theme park attraction for the franchise. Laguna Gamori, which is a marine resort complex with pools and rides has announced that they will be creating a “One Piece Memorial Log in Lagunasia” theme park attraction. This will exist between March 20 to June 27.

According to Laguna Gamori, this will be the first attraction to follow and recreate the journey of the Straw Hat Pirates; though it isn’t the first theme park attraction for the franchise. What does this mean? Well, it could be some sort of ride that takes you through some scenes from the anime, or maybe just a museum-like exhibition. That’s it, time for an Anime Vice field trip!

So. I wonder what kind of ride or park attraction they will make. Roller coaster or some sort of water ride. How about a roller coaster that splashes through water?

Hmmm... I would like to see that!

Wow; first breast mouse pads and now a ride. What's next, an anime?

i wish anime was more popular in the US. Then maybe We would get some anime rides in our theme parks.

@rein: I could picture some kind of Naruto or Pokemon thing, I guess.

Maybe if one of these Hollywood flicks does well =p

Has to ber some sort of water ride I think, would be perfect. Reading this also made me ralize that I probably haven't been on a roller-coaster for over five years or something like that... Have to take a trip to an amusement park soon I think.

They wont.

Though the idea does make me think about a blog entry I recently wrote on my Comic Vince profile. I submitted it for consideration for front page attention. I've also been thinking about retooling it so it could apply to anime/manga.

Zing!

I was imagining it to be something like Splash Mountain at Disney World where most of the ride is like nice and calm and happy, looking at all the fun adventures. Then a giant drop at the end with the climax of the (or rather one of the) story(ies).

Whatever it ends up being, it sounds entertaining.

@Lan: I've never done Splash Mountain, but it sounds kinda like the Country Bear Jamboree at Disneyland-- only been on it once, but it's like this calm chipper ride with animatronic bears singing, and then just the one big fall at the end. I thought it was kinda lame :\
