As we reported back on September 6, One Piece will be setting sail for it's new season with the two year time skip in One Piece Ep. 517 on October 2nd (Oct. 1st in the U.S.). A standing question among fans. What would be the new opening song? The first opening for the series that began in 1999 was "We Are!". It was written and composed by Shouko Fujibayashi and Kouhei Tanaka, and was performed by Hiroshi Kitadani. It's been re-recorded two more times for the anime and performed by different artists.
The recent publication of Shueisha's Weekly Shonen Jump #41 has revealed that Shouko Fujibayashi, Kouhei Tanaka, and Hiroshi Kitadani will return with a new opening titled "We Go!". They describe this theme as the "answer song" to 'We Are!". The CD Single version of this song will be sold in Japan on November 16, 2011 for ¥1,260 ($16.50). Among some of the music news, the Shonen Jump ads also shows off a few of the new characters that will be introduced at the top.
FUNimation streams the One Piece anime series for free on the One Piece Official website soon after it airs Japan with full subtitles at 9 PM CST (10PM EST / 7PM PST). The OnePiecePodcast is also holding a special fan art contest with prizes that includes free manga, import puzzles, and a copy of One Piece Volume 63 (the latest edition in Japan). One Piece Ep. 516 airs on September 24th, and it's the final episode before the New World for Luffy and his Straw Hat crew. Hope some of you will be there to join in on this anime event.

Hey, I enter that contest (bet you guys don't know which one is me LOL!)
I look forward to the day in which I can catch up to where the One Piece anime is currently. At the moment, I am trying to catch up on the massive backlog of episodes that I have been knocking out since I restarted watching OP in March from Ep. 30 (so far, I am on Ep. 305 of the Enies Lobby Arc as of yesterday).
I look forward to hearing the new theme from those who performed "We Are!".
Wow. That two-year timeskip allowed them to do what every creepy h fan wanted by giving Nami a ridiculous set of curves. I'm disappointed. Also, Usopp now looks like most of those creepy h fans.
@ShadowKnight508:
Enies Lobby is a really good arc. It has some epic moments. Following is Thriller Bark. That arc is awesome. I look forward to writing an article for this episode once it has aired.
Episode 516 is buffering for me AS I TYPE THIS. ooooooo I haven't been this excited in a while. I think of this sort of like giving myself a teaser of what is to come, since I'm still so far behind. :) I might also check out 517 too, but it depends if i'm busy next weekend.
I really don't like how any of the male characters look now, maybe I'll get use to it.
So very excited for this Saturday :D

She was only 18 before the timeskip so it was alright to do. ;) And don't you dare hate on Mansopp
Love the new style of the characters! Plus, on Saturday there is a new MLP:FIS episode!
The changes made are quite good. Ive read the manga, and I hope that the anime would be just as good. Nami now has long hair and huge bossoms, and I wonder if Robin isn't wearing any undergarments. Plus they have brand new ship.
