Atypically, I like the 1/8 figure better than the Nendoroid. The sculpt features a phenomenal pose-- if it stands as well as it looks, it's a definite winner. The facial expression is vivid and lively.
The Nendoroid is cute, and even has posable legs, which is unusual for the usually joint-less line, but she just looks so stiff in comparison. Still, her ¥3334 ($35.40 USD) price tag looks pretty nice next to the 1/8-scale figure's ¥7,961 ($84.60 USD) one.

They look pretty nice, though that pose is definitely one that'll bend away over time. the Nendoroid looks a lot like Shiki's though...
I haven't seen Canaan, but, I want that figure. I want it bad. She is bad-ass without being overly sexualized. I love the pants, the boots, the cloak. This figure makes me happy.
I wonder if I would like the show.
Drooling over that first one-- exactly what Rathany said, it just looks fantastic.
