Nogizaka Haruka Gets Second Season

The closeted otaku returns!

From Haruhi to Haruka-- the popular moe series Nogizaka Haruka no Himitsu (The Secret of Haruka Nogizaka), the tale of a beautiful, perfect-seeming young woman who turns out to be a hardore otaku, is reportedly getting a second season.

Like Haruhi, Haruka doesn't have a date for her second season yet. That said, it seems unlikely that she'll run into the same kind of ridiculous situation as her...well, if Haruka is an otaku, than Haruhi must feature in her pantheon of gods, right? Hm...

I can't really say what made me finish the first season. In reality it probably not that bad of a show. but what I really want to say is that the head maid use a big ass chain saw and I thought that was really cool. So I keep watching seeing if she would pull it out again; which she does, but sadly it is never use on anything.

I couldnt stand the first episode. I finished it but only because I wanted to give it a chance, but its obvious generic fanboy fapfodder-ness drove me away.

I watched the whole first season, and I thought it was decent. Nothing spectacular, but there were some bits I liked (no love triangles, while there were a moderate number of attractive women around the protagonist, they were supportive of the relationship between the hero and Haruka, etc.) It was a nice change from most other romantic comedy anime I've seen recently.

Dig Deeper into Nogizaka Haruka no Himitsu
