Music sure is in these days. The Nodame Cantabile manga may have just ended, but a side story manga, two live action series, and the 3rd and finale anime adaptation is coming around. As you can tell from the 30 second teaser, piano's are played and some dude hits on someone dressed like Bach... which is hot.
With all of this buzz I've really wanted to check it out. In fact, yesterday at the comic shop I saw a few volumes in the "Buy 1 manga, get 3 free." Of course, there were absolutely no first volumes...
(here's a trailer for the first live action movie while we are at it)

Still damn excited though.
I'm REALLY excited about this. Much because of the two polar opposite pairing romance and the occasional over-the-top slapstick humor. Nodame is a weird but very much likable character with all the antics that revolves around her. The actress who plays the live-action Nodame does it so good she basically is the character. There are only two reasons you would want to watch this show either it is because of the male protagonist, who works hard to become a orchestra conductor, or because of Nodame because she is what she is.
