- Announcement the First: Aya Hirano (Haruhi), Minori Chihara (Yuki), and Yuko Gotou (Mikuru) will record a special interview that will only be given out to Newtype readers (and, I'm sure, will almost immediately be pirated).
- Announcement the Second: Newtype will stream Endless Eight on their website for an entire day. Actually it'll be from 9pm August 28th to 11:59pm August 29th (Tokyo time, natch).
- Announcement the Third: Meet the "Endless Eight Cult Quiz." Then shoot yourself.
- Announcement the Fourth: More Haruhi merch is on the way.
I will note that at least none of this Endless Eight crap is really new content that fans will want to give a shot-- if you're sick of E8, you don't have to watch it on Newtype, listen to the interview, or take the quiz. So you can just pretend that the fourth announcement was all that was made and pretend to be mad at Kadokawa for making a big deal out of such a puny announcement.
Or you can laugh at the trolling (one certainly does start to wonder).
