But Anime Cons reports on a new challenger: Bishie Con, which is actually a second convention run by the team who built Kawa Kon, both in St. Louis, Missouri. In addition to being the farthest east of any yaoi con I've heard of (though I do recall some murmurs of a con in the works in New York, which as far as I know never came to anything), it will also be the first BL con to permit attendees under the age of 18 to enjoy the materials. After all, not all yaoi is explicit, I guess. Those under the age of 18 are allowed during the day, but the evening portion will be an 18+ “after dark” sort of atmosphere.
The convention will take place November 13-15, at the Holiday Inn Southwest-Viking in St. Louis.
*gasps* My friend always wanted to go to Yaoi-con because she likes yaoi however she's underage... actually she might 18 for the next one I should check when Yaoi con is on. Thanks for the reminder I guess haha
