New Legislation Could put Mosaic Blur on Every Child

The anime world is doomed.

Canned Dogs has found a very interesting piece of information about a preposed legislation that just might become a law. It states:  
 
“Any character that regardless of actual age has an appearance of being under 18, and has a possibility of causing youths to lust for or possibility of bringing this fantasy to real life, will have to be censored.”

“Now what the hell does this mean”, you are probably asking yourself. I’m not sure myself, it could mean lots of different things. From censoring all lolis in hentai, to censoring all nude children with children like features in anime, to even censoring all “lusty” children regardless if they are naked or not? Or maybe they will ban all characters who have flat chests like our friends down under? Who knows? I doubt they will make this into a law, but it is still scary that they are contemplating something so drastic.

It makes me sad when we live in a world where stuff like this can still happen. To live in times when all you need to do to get a law passed is to say "It hurts the children! So we need to ban ____" or end your argument with a "Would someone think of the children!" and you get a free pass on law making.

do people realize its a drawn figure and there doesn't need to be an image of something perverted to make people have perverted thoughts.  really whats preventing people from lusting over something stupid anyways.  people... le sigh

So, my thoughts here... If we're instating laws that, by effect, protect the rights of squiggles on a page, can we then extrapolate that marrying said doodle is socially acceptable. Not the underage drawings mind you, but their adult counterparts. They have rights, don't they, that makes them like people.
