Of course, the manga is being made into an anime. It has already been made into a trading card game, and uniquely enough, it features other properties in the cards-- including Da Capo, Persona 3 and 4, Zero no Tsukaima, Disgaea, Fate/Stay Night, and Clannad. I don't know if this will show up in the anime adaptation (I doubt it appeared in the manga, either).
Also announced recently is an anime version of the novel Kawa no Hikari by Hisaki Matsuura, a childrens' novel about preserving the environment. Aya Hirano (The Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya's titular Haruhi) is voicing a role in the series, which is part of a new project by NHK to promote various environmental causes.
But wait, there's more! You may remember that due to Gonzo's various financial difficulties, there was some speculation that they might not be given the opportunity to animate the second season of loli witches anime Strike Witches. It has now been confirmed, however, that they will produce the series, Strike Witches 2-Ki, although no rough estimate for its release has been announced.
Edit: Oops, almost forgot-- Twitch has a trailer for Production I.G's new CG anime film project Oblivion Island: Haruka and the Magic Mirror. Enjoy!
