It's not clear what her role ever would have been, and Kristen Bell-- who is confirmed for an unnamed role in the film –may be the person who has what would have been Johansson's role. That's speculation, though.
Do you think this is another bad omen for Astro Boy? Or do you think it'll pull through and be a cool flick?

when girls as hot as that pull out of a movie its always a bad sign.....always.....always!
I wouldn't mind if she was replaced by Kristen Bell... but, yeah. Problems seem to abound for Astro Boy these days.
I'm more interested in just seeing Astro Boy. I really don't care who the voice actors are as long as they don't suck. I don't need any big Hollywood actors to make me want to see this. Although, Scarlet Johansson...
Hollywood doesn't keep Scarlett Johansson gainfully employed for her acting "talents" voice or otherwise.
