Naruto Shippuden Championsip Tournaments!

Paving the road to Gen Con Indy...

Strap your metal headband and bone up on your Jutsu… starting next month, Shonen Jump will holding Naruto Shippuden tournaments leading up to the grand championship this August at Gen Con Indy. Liken it to the slope that led up to the Winter Olympics or the road to Wrestlemania… really pick your own comparison, because the prizes sounds like the modern equivalent of gold treasure you’d only ever find buried inside a mountain in feudal Japan.

But why hear it for me when you can get Viz’s description of it?

In addition to all the Naruto goodies, we’re talking about a PS3, a PS3 and an I-Pod touch are slotted as prizes. Sheesh, the last time I saw so much hi-tech stuff up for grabs was when the Korean exchange students at my high school were just chucking their perfectly-good laptops into the dumpster before they flew back home for summer break. Sounds like the tourney been leveled for players of all skill levels. So no matter if you’re a hardcore, diehard, season veteran or a clueless n00b (like me), you’ve got an equal shot at the gold.
