Just in time for the weekend, more pictures from "Street Fighter: The Legend Of Chun Li." Come on. You know you're curious to see what they'll be like. I want to know who is going to see this and review this. I suppose we should all persuade Gia to do that, right? We should have a side-by-side comparison to the 1994 version.

I don't know if I'm actually relatively all that qualified to review the flick-- fighter games aren't really my area of expertise. I mean, I'll do it, probably regardless of what else happens, but I don't know if my review will be the best-informed!

Maybe we'll run a contest for user reviews. ;)

Maybe I'll fly down to the office a week after it's been out. We can get the whole Whiskey team to go to a matinee on a Monday when it's probably thoroughly abandoned, set up an audio recorder or something, and MST3K it. ;)

Balrog/Not!Kingpin/Whatever

Michael Clarke Duncan might as well just wear a t-shirt in the film that says "I'm Balrog Here", just so audiences aren't confusing him for the dozen or other BigMenacingBadGuy roles he has in the past.

"Bison"? Really? Are we sure that guy isn't listed at IMDB as "Not-So-Very-Threatening Maître D'"? I can totally see him handing over menus with much menace and snarl.

I never imagined M. Bison without his signature red uniform. He looks less intimidating with that light pink shirt and polka-dot tie! At least Raul Julia wore the red uniform. Yes, my fellow comrades, I do remember the ill-fated original Street Fighter where Jean Claude Van Damme portrayed Guile. This soon to be released movie has butchered my beloved, ego-maniacal Vega!! How in the world he is going to act narcissistic in battle looking like that! The whole point of him wearing the mask is for protecting his face from bruises, scratches, scars, and of course his beauty. Ho-hum yet another Hollywood flick butchering a video game franchise. Tekken is next on the chopping block! I think Tekken is going to be released in the summer of this year as well.

The movie could be good for a laugh. It's like when ethan and I saw "Punisher Warzone." THIS was our impression of it.

Michael Clarke Duncan shouldn't be Balrog in this film, Raw Leiba played a much better Balrog in "Street Fighter TLY " he's a better actor and he for sure has a better body,plus doesn't Balrog have hair?
