More Spike Talk: #2 Space Cowboy of All Time

The LA Weekly ranks the top five space cowboys in entertainment.

Busy day for Cowboy Bebop's Spike Spiegel-- first Keanu Reeves wants to play him (*shudder*), and now L.A. Weekly has ranked him the #2 awesomest space cowboy ever.

Although the order might not be intended to matter, since the #1 is Mal from Joss Whedon's Firefly. Nothing against the guy, it just feels like he hasn't been around long enough to top relative old-timers to the space western genre like Spike and Han Solo (#3). It's also worth noting that Vash the Stampede, of Trigun fame, took #4. (#5 is Marshall William T. O'Neill from Outland.)

Weird list? Yeah...but with Vash and Spike ranking up with Han “Shot First” solo, how can I complain?

I like how they're using AMVs to show off the anime characters.

Mal wouldn't even exist without Gene Starwind.  Where's he?
