Just a quick update on this piece: I've had an e-mail from an Imagi insider who wishes to remain anonymous and offers some reassurances. Apparently Imagi executives hope to only be closed for the Chinese New Year holiday period, i.e. one week, and they do have plans for restoring some funding.

Note that this is unofficial and unconfirmed information, so take it as you will.

As far as funding, what if I send them my $9 for Astro Boy and Gatchaman now? That's a total of $18 right there. Money in the bank.
