You'll either love or hate this cast list for the upcoming anime adaptation of Fairy Tail, which just popped up on the Internets.

- Fearless leader, carefree Natsu Dragneel: Tetsuya Kakihara ( Dragonaut's Kazuki, Minamike's Fujioka, Gurren Lagann's Simon)
- The incredibly strong taskmaster Erza Scarlet: Sayaka Ohara ( ARIA's Alicia, Code Geass' Milly Ashford, Vandread's Ezra)
- Natsu's archrival and ally, Gray Fullbuster: Yuuichi Nakamura ( Clannad's Tomoya, Macross Frontier's Alto Saotome, Shugo Chara!'s Ikuto)
- Talking cat Happy: Rie Kugimiya ( Fullmetal Alchemist's Al Elric, Shakugan no Shana's Shana, RIN ~Daughters of Mnemosyne~'s Mimi)
Quite a cast! Seeing Simon return as Natsu should be ineresting-- veeeery different roles, of course. Hirano as Lucy isn't much of a stretch, but I confess I'm secretly hoping that Hirano releases a single of “Lucy in the Sky with Diamonds,” which the character is named after. (Seriously, how cool would that be?) And I'm definitely excited to see Nakamura as Gray-- I love him not just as Ikuto, but also as Graham Acre in Gundam 00.
