I just got alerted to a new website by JList's
Twitter called
Japanese Streets, a collection of photos of Japanese street fashion-- basically anyone who's wearing an interesting outfit on the streets of Japan.

Ignore the jacket and the skirts and just stare at the Doc Martens. Niiice color.

That coat would look terrible on me, but is really cool.

I think I had that jacket when I was six, in 1990.

I dig the barfing squirrel bag.
Each photo has the subject's name, along with the photographer and the location. And if you mouse over 'em you can find info on the clothes being worn, and there's also a blog and a spot to shop on eBay. I'm guessing this'll be a must for anyone interested in J-fashion!
Of course, it's mostly women's fashion (though there's some stuff for guys as well). Any of you gonna check it out?
On the left, natch.
I have a friend that looks exactly like the girl in pic# 4, clothes included.
Japanese Streets is now in my favorites, and I will be checking it every single DAMN DAY!!!
Thank you, gia for yet another new drug!
If I was a chick, this would be my fashion bible.
Pretty sure it's Harajuku. From what I understand that is where all the interesting fashion trends and styles come from. (INB4 Harajuku is in between Shinjuku and Shibuya)
I check it already, It's a great site. I'm a guy, but I'm still interested in fashion of all types, actually wrote one of my senior Japanese papers on fashion in Japan. It's always an interesting subject, there are so many different and interesting little niches and categories of it as well.
What? There's something in that photo that isn't a cut out of horo?!? Don't see it.
@Addfwyn:
Oh yeah, that stuff is interesting regardless of gender. Though I'll admit it is of some relief that guy's fashion needs tend to be relatively cheaper.
