This is an interesting combination. Ikea, the Scandinavian furniture store will be adding a new line this month called CHARLOTTA, according to blog site, RoomService. The line will include a collection of fabrics from designer Åsa Ekström.
I do have to say that I am a little surprised and pleased by this. Ikea has always been known for their Swedish styles and it's nice to see them embracing another culture. Plus it looks pretty dang cool.
It could be argued that the designs aren't true manga styles since they were created by a Scandinavian designer. But according to the blog, Åsa Ekström became inspired by manga at the age of 13. Let's hope that the line is successful and Ikea will add more designs to the line. Perhaps we can get Gia and John to pick some up for the office.

although isnt that godzilla theme racist lol
eh, i gotta admitt though: i would buy it lol
Unless they had Celty on them or something.
I dunno, it was so long ago that I read that magazine, I bet it's been cancelled by now.
Also for the record, the letter "Å" sounds like the Oh in Yu-Gi-Oh. Well sorta.
@GMan: I would agree its stereotypical, but for something like this I think its the right and only way to go.
Its better to beg for forgiveness than ask for permission. ^_^

I could see that. Great find GMan!
I never thought I would ever see Godzilla go on a rampage through Stockholm! I hope Ikea makes more stuff like this in the future!
