Mamoru Oshii to Make Tetsujin 28 Film

Tesujin 28-go on the big screen... again.

Mamoru Oshii, the man who took the Ghost in the Shell manga, and made it into an anime masterpiece, some may call him a director, but I call him a god.  Regardless, he has set his eyes on a new project, something bigger than normal. That something is Tetsujin 28-go, for he shall be creating a film adaptation of the manga. This did not come completely out of left field, for Oshii had been directing a stage play version of Tesujin 28-go. The stage play version even had a 1,100 pound six-meter-tall replica of the big boy himself.

So Oshii already had his hands dirty with this franchise, so this film should be money in the bank. I for one am expecting a super serious version of Tesujin 28-go, like Ghost in the Shell, but more grim dark. Don’t disappoint me!
