Mai Kadowaki to Sell Herself at Comiket

And by "sell herself" I mean "sell photos of herself." GOTCHA!

This year's winter Comic Market is right around the corner-- and, by the way, Comiket is this week's topic for 3-Minute Expert! --and word about the self-published products being sold there is starting to trickle out as the guide book goes on sale and circles begin making announcements.

But here's an unusual addition: according to Canned Dogs, voice actress Mai Kadowaki will be there as a seller, offering up her own photobook. Kadowaki is perhaps best known as Illya from Fate/Stay Night, Mimi from Kodomo no Jikan, and Mayu from Goshuushou-sama Ninomiya-kun.

You may also remember that Kadowaki was the victim of threats from a fan who sent her letters. The man was arrested, but if I were her I'd be pretty nervous about attending a public event where security would be as tough as Comiket...on the other hand, it's a very crowded place, and it does have security at the entrances, so maybe it's even safer there. Hm! have security at the entrances, so maybe it's even safer there. Hm!

Sad when a fan cant control himself and has to hurt the thing he cares about because of his lack of self control. I'm glad it ended in a way that she didn't get hurt, and that she is apparently not letting him win by allowing it to take control of her life.

True that.  Glad to see that she is moving on.

It's unclear if she herself will actually appear; it's just that she has registered independently from, say, a production/management/publisher.

Wow, Ba-za-ka is quite the dashing gentlemen, if a bit rough around the edges (amused at example image).
