Life-Sized Gundam Statue is Reborn from Ashes

Just like the anime, the Gundam Statue will never be away for long.

For those of us who cried many tears during those lonely nights when we found out that the life-sized Gundam statue in Odaiba was going to be taken, well put away your tissues because it will be coming back to us once again. This time it will be in Shizuoka City, the home to many different model kit factories, including Bandai’s. This will be placed in front of the Shizuoka train station, welcoming trains as they enter.

This statue will stay there from July 2010 to May of 2011, when it will then be moved to another prefecture. Eventually they would like to erect it near Bandai Hobby Center, or my house, whatever Japan decides to go with. I’m so happy they are taking this out of the warehouse, and putting this where this belongs; which is out where everyone can see.

@GodLen: If by your house, you mean mine, then ok.

Hell yes, I'm so glad this hasn't just ended up being stored away somewhere, it's far too epic.
