Level-5 Soon To Announce Phenomenal Game

My top five guesses on what this game could be.

It appears as if everyone tweets, to the famous to, me, to even a man like Akihiro Hino, who just so happens to be Level-5‘s el presidente. And sometimes these tweets contain super, pant wetting hints that change lives. According to a recent tweet, Level-5 plans on announcing a game sometime in April. This is cool and everything, but it doesn’t stop there. He states: "Once this is announced, it will become an extremely anticipated title", like running down the streets tipping over cars kind of excited. Now a lot of game developers might say this and never pull through, but this is Level 5, a great company that makes some great games (minus White Knight Chronicles). So here are my thoughts on what game this could be.

Professor Layton: Perhaps it is time for another Professor Layton game. But instead of being on the DS they move it over to the Playstation 3. Imagine an RPG game of sorts that takes the best aspects of the DS game and adds more RPG elements to the equation.

Dark Cloud 3: This would be the perfect opportunity to make another Dark Cloud game. They announced a Dark Cloud 3 ages ago, but never got around to actually finishing it. The last two were on the Playstation 2, with a new console there needs to be a new game, because that’s how it works. They can apply what they learned in White Knight Chronicles and bring it to the third installment.

Dragon Quest X: It went from the Playstion 2, to the DS, and now it has to come out for the Playstation 3. Seriously, the last game sold better than hotcakes in Japan, they will make this game. The question is, when will they make it?

Though it could be an entirely new franchise that has never been made before. Either way this has to be good, or else I’ll go to Japan and make Level-5 a Level-4 with my fists.

" @FoxxFireArt: Ah, but therein lies the challenge! A good writer should be like a goldfish: you adapt to fit the space you're given <3 "
Your average household goldfish is lucky to live four years, and that's with proper care and maintenance of it's environment. This is due to the large amounts of toxins that a fish actually releases into the water it lives in through feces and such. The larger the environment the longer the goldfish lives. For optimal living. A goldfish should have closer to 20 gallons to swim in.

Maybe it's about Ushiro, which is a game for the PSP that they quietly announced at TGS 08 alongside Ni no Kuni (the Ghibli collaboration project. and I say quietly because well the fact they are collaborating with Ghibli on a game dwarfed their other press releases at the show) but other than saying you play a Shinigami and it's an RPG they have said nothing about it. So maybe they are going to make an announcement about when it's coming out or just why people should be exited for that game.

FoxxFire seems more of a metal bat kind of guy.
@GodLen:

Japan likes portable stuff though and the only game they have released on PS3 is White Knight Chronicles and well that game didn't sell huge and it got pretty mediocre reviews. I'm guessing if Level-5 is saying it's something big it's going to be coming to a portable system probably the DS. Sorry to burst your bubble with reality Len.

@Konanda:
I don't think it's right to make fun of FoxxFire anymore, the guy clearly has problems, and needs help, and frankly making fun of him is not the help he needs.

Anything by Level-5 sounds like a plus to me, though that reminds me I still have to finish WKC...as soon as I get my serah theme in FFXIII

Good suggestions, though I'm sure if they did a Layton on a different console, it'd probably be the Wii. Lower dev costs, the wii-mote, and its not that super complex of a game. They use a simple art style.

Shows just how little you know about me. I'm from Kentucky. Louisville Slugger is the standard in bats.
