And eventually we did, in the form of a 30-minute short created as part of a special event for Jump Sq., the manga anthology that serialized the manga. The anime probably functioned as a test to see how well the show would do overall, because a full TV anime is now reportedly in the works and due out this fall.
That
said, I'm not totally thrilled with how the anime looks in comparison
to the manga's style, so I'm going to throw a bunch of images from
