USA Today actually reported that the American Academy of Ophthalmology issued a statement warning against the use of these lenses. They also spoke with a 16 year old by the name of Melody Vue who apparently owns TWENTY TWO pairs of these lenses and wears them regularly. Uh, girl ... I don't even own 22 pairs of shoes. Overkill much?

I dispise this woman. People go gaga over her even though she is loopy. In the words of Carlos Mencia, "She's a deee da deee!". I can't believe she got to meet the Queen of England and still wore something outlandish. And this stuff with the big eyes is unnecessary, especially that silly 16 year old. Big eyes should stay in anime where it looks right.
